This winter season promises to be one of the most dazzling displays of the northern lights that we have ever seen. Already the viewing season has started, with one of our guests snapping these amazing photos of dancing green and pink aurora on a background of diamond glittering stars. Of course, pictures can’t quite capture the magical experience of watching the Aurora dance, one of the great wonders of our universe. The northern lights are romantic and unforgettable, and our location is about as perfect as you can get! Our cozy cabins overlook a vast expanse of fields that give us an uninterrupted panoramic view, without the interference of light and noise pollution common in town. We offer one of the best viewing experiences in the world, and a delicious homemade breakfast awaits you in the morning (or early afternoon, if you choose to sleep in). We can’t wait to share this amazing experience with you!

The past few years, we have been lucky enough to have a rare white moose calf traipsing around our woods. He (or she) is quite shy, but has caused quite a stir and even got some media attention, from as far away as Anchorage. We were able to play paparazzi and snap these candid photos right from our driveway. While we can’t guarantee that our guests will see any wildlife, there is always a good chance!

After a lot of hard work, our cabins are finally ready for guests! Two of the planned four cabins are completed, with the next cabins going up in the summer. The cabins have brand-new furnishings, and are fully equipped for a single guest up to a large family.

If you are visiting Delta junction/ Fort Greely, or just passing through on the way to more adventures, our cabins are the perfect resting spot. They pay homage to the trapper cabins that dotted this area in times past, but our guests will appreciate all of the modern conveniences. They feature fully-furnished kitchens with ovens, microwaves and refrigerators. Each cabin also has a private bathroom, so no running out to an outhouse! Whether you want to gaze out at the northern lights with a hot cup of coffee, or watch satellite TV in a comfortable recliner, we are sure that you’ll be pleased with your choice of lodging!
